Frederick Restaurant Showcased in New Gordon Ramsay Series
Gordon Ramsay is a world-renowned chef whose many restaurants have earned a total of 17 Michelin Stars over the years. Yet he is perhaps more well known as the host of various culinary television shows, most notably 'Kitchen Nightmares'.
The Scottish chef's latest series, 'Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service', is shining a spotlight on the City of Frederick with not just one episode, but a two-part feature on Callahan's Seafood Bar & Grill, located on Rosemont Avenue. The episodes will air on the second and third Tuesdays of July—on FOX TV & Hulu.
Having recently premiered on May 21st of this year, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service follows the titular chef and his crew as they assess and revitalize struggling restaurants. The concept differs from Kitchen Nightmares through the inclusion of espionage-style theatrics. Ramsay conducts his investigations covertly, using undercover insiders, after-hours blacklight inspections, and similar spy-themed gimmicks.
Located on Rosemont Avenue, between The Golden Mile and the Fort Detrick military base, Callahan’s Seafood Bar and Grill is a long-standing establishment in the hearts of both Frederick City, and many of its residents.
